Service Description

The purpose of the certification process is for psychotherapists to demonstrate their competency in the Eight Phases of EMDR. Psychotherapists pursuing certification will need to exhibit their understanding of the Adaptive Information Processing Model through case consultation and live or video demonstration. Certification requires a minimum of 20 hours of consultation with an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. A maximum of 10 hours can be done in a group setting. The remaining 10 hours can be done in individual sessions with a consultant or within the group format as individual presentations. These 10, 1.5-hour sessions will provide you with 10 hours of group consultation and 2 hours of individual consultation. The additional 3 hours provide time to discuss specialty application. Price includes: ten sessions at 1 1/2 hours each.
