Consultation Group | Part 1

In a virtual group setting Carolyn Settle will provide consultation for the Weekend 1 EMDR Institute Basic training. This group is designed to provide the participant with a comfortable, educational and practical experience in understanding the AIP model and the eight phases of EMDR Therapy.

Consultation Group | Part 2

In a virtual group setting Carolyn Settle will provide consultation for the Weekend 2 EMDR Institute Basic training. Weekend 2 group consultation is designed to provide the participant with an understanding of how to conceptualize complex cases, how to use cognitive interweaves and address blocked processing.

EMDRIA Approved Certification Group

$995 for 15 hours

Ten sessions at 1 1/2 hours each

The purpose of the certification process is for psychotherapists to demonstrate their competency in the Eight Phases of EMDR. Psychotherapists pursuing certification will need to exhibit their understanding of the Adaptive Information Processing Model through case consultation and live or video demonstration. Certification requires a minimum of 20 hours of consultation with an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. A maximum of 10 hours can be done in a group setting. The remaining 10 hours can be done in individual sessions with a consultant or within the group format as individual presentations. These 10, 1.5-hour sessions will provide you with 10 hours of group consultation and 2 hours of individual consultation. The additional 3 hours provide time to discuss specialty application.

EMDRIA Approved Consultant-In-Training (CIT) Group

 

$1,210 for 22 hours

Eleven sessions at 2 hours each

The purpose of the Consultant-In-Training process is to teach certified EMDRIA therapists how to deliver the highest quality EMDR consultation for both case consultation and for therapists who want to become certified in EMDR. This group experience will assist CITs learn consultation skills, update their EMDR knowledge with new reading material and demonstrate their competency through presentations and live or video demonstrations. CITs must be currently licensed, have completed EMDR training at least 3 years ago and are currently EMDRIA certified. To move forward and apply for Approved Consultant status, CITs must provide a letter from an EMDRIA Approved Consultant stating they have completed a minimum of 20 hours of consultation. They must have previously completed 300 EMDR sessions with at least 75 clients, completed 12 hours of EMDRIA approved CEUs and provide 2 letters from colleagues attesting to their ethics.
